Health & Safety

A1 Lifts is an independent family based lift company working in the North West area of the UK with a focus on quality and reliability, delivering access requirements to suit all needs and continue to meet industry standards.

We undertake regular reviews of our health and safety procedures and closely monitor all work undertaken, to ensure that we provide good customer service and value for money.

Site specific risk assessments and method statements are provided for all aspects of lift work, from installations, to repairs and maintenance, so that we can ensure the continued safety of all employees and site personnel.

Our Engineers are trained in all aspects of health and safety, in order to understand the risks and hazards associated with the lift industry.

Safeguarding the environment is the responsibility of every individual and we ensure the full co-operation of management and employees at all levels, to recognize and report both hazards to the environment and opportunities for improvement, which help to maximize conservation of materials, energy and resources.

We have recently been awarded constructionline status and will shortly be awarded Acclaim and CHAS.

Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) require all equipment used for lifting is fit for purpose, appropriate for the task, suitably marked and subject to both regular maintenance and statutory periodic thorough examinations, which can be completed by our competent, trained engineers.
